As of today, PtcBox will switch to a new model, in which there will be a guaranteed minimum number of daily PTC ads.
The first week will be accepted as a test period in order to determine the final number of PTCs which will be offered in the long term. During this period, we will test a different number of minimum ads/day and measure the "response" of "new" members according to the daily statistics and make the final decision according to the collected data.
In the meantime, we also want to clarify some points related with the "guaranteed minimum number of daily PTC ads model" for those people who have misunderstood this statement or have concerns about other changes which will take place once we officially switch to the new model. Besides the clear statements, there are also examples for those people whose native language is not English:
1- "Guaranteed minimum number" means, you will "never" see fewer than "x" number of ads per day. "Guaranteed minimum number" does "NOT" mean that you will only get "x" number of ads per day.
Example:
If the guarantee is "6", this means you will find at least "6" PTCs once you log-in to your account. But during the day, you may also be able to click more than 6 ads such as "7 PTCs/24 hours", "11 PTCs/24 hours" etc.
2- Once we officially switch to the new model, "ALL" upgrade options will be replaced with new membership types. So, this one-week test period is the "last" chance to purchase the current memberships, which have "more" benefits as the current memberships have been planned according to the old model which did not have any guarantee/day at all (consequently, the new memberships will be more expensive).
3- Once the test period is over, the "Upgrade" page will be updated with 3 new membership types and new custom prices, and the "Surf PTC ads" page will have a new look which will clearly show the Mega-PTCs and standard PTCs separately.
Note: In about 4-5 days, a timer will be placed on the news page which will countdown for 72 hours. Once this timer stops, that is, the 72 hours is up, it will not be possible to purchase current memberships anymore and this will not be extended or postponed so please do not ask for any additional time on our forum or by email.
